Agreement & Terms

Effective date: 19.09.2026

These Agreement & Terms apply to the purchase and delivery of the “Between Two Worlds – Private Meridian Session” offered by Elisa Papi, trading as The Inner Meridian (“the Provider”).

By purchasing the session and selecting the acceptance checkbox at checkout, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms.

1. The session

“Between Two Worlds” is a private 90-minute mentoring and reflective guidance session for people navigating life, identity, belonging or transition between two cultural, personal or professional worlds.

The session is tailored to the client’s situation and may include guided reflection, structured conversation, perspective-building and practical integration prompts.

The session is normally delivered online by video call unless a different format or location has been expressly agreed in writing.

The purchase includes:

  • One private 90-minute session;

  • Access to a dedicated booking calendar after payment;

  • A “Pre-Session Reflection”, including preparation instructions and reflective prompts, to be completed by the Client and, where requested, submitted to the Provider before the session;

  • A personalised “Coordinates Card”, provided by the Provider immediately following the session; and

  • A personalised “Meridian Map”, delivered digitally by the Provider within 48 hours of the session’s completion.

Any future workbook, book, programme, follow-up session or other product or service is not included unless expressly stated in the offer.

The session may be conducted in English, German or Italian, according to the Client’s preference. The Provider may also draw on her knowledge of Arabic to support clarification and facilitate communication where helpful; however, Arabic is not offered as the principal language of the session.

The Pre-Session Reflection, session tools, Coordinates Card, Meridian Map and any other written materials or post-session deliverables are currently provided exclusively in English.

2. Nature and limits of the service

The session is a mentoring, reflective and personal-development service. It is not psychotherapy, psychological treatment, medical care, crisis support, legal advice, financial advice or another regulated professional service.

No diagnosis, treatment or clinical assessment is provided. The session is not appropriate for emergencies or situations requiring medical, psychological or crisis intervention. If you are experiencing an emergency or require specialist support, please contact an appropriate qualified professional or local emergency service.

The client remains responsible for their own choices, decisions, actions and wellbeing before, during and after the session.

3. Price and payment

The price is CHF 390.- incl. VAT, payable in full at checkout by one of the available payment methods.

The final amount and any applicable taxes or payment information will be displayed at checkout. Payment must be successfully completed before access to the booking calendar is provided.

Payment confirmations and invoices are issued in CHF. If your card or bank account uses another currency, your bank or card provider may apply its own exchange rate or additional charges.

4. Booking the session

Following successful payment, you will receive access to a dedicated calendar through which you can select an available appointment.

You are responsible for entering a correct email address and completing the booking process. If you do not receive the booking information, please check your spam folder and contact the Provider.

The session must be booked and take place WITHIN 3 MONTHS of the purchase date. The Client is responsible for booking sufficiently in advance. If the Provider is unable to offer any reasonable appointment availability within that period, the validity period will be extended until a suitable appointment can be offered. An unused session expires after three months unless an extension has been agreed in writing.

5. Rescheduling

You may reschedule the session once, without additional charge, by providing AT LEAST 24 HOURS’ NOTICE through the booking system or by contacting the Provider in writing.

A request made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be treated as a late cancellation, and the session may be considered used. Any additional rescheduling is at the Provider’s discretion.

If the Provider needs to reschedule, you will be offered a reasonable alternative appointment. If no suitable alternative can be found, the amount paid for the undelivered session will be refunded.

6. Cancellations, refunds and missed sessions

Except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise, purchases are non-refundable once the booking period has begun or the session has been booked.

If you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice, the Provider may, at her discretion, offer a rescheduled appointment or credit instead of a refund.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, do not attend, or are more than 20 minutes late without contacting the Provider, the session may be treated as completed and the payment will not be refunded.

Nothing in these terms limits any cancellation, withdrawal or refund right that cannot legally be excluded under the law applicable to the purchase.

7. Client participation

To receive the greatest benefit from the session, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and relevant information;

  • Participate voluntarily and respectfully;

  • Attend from a private and reasonably quiet environment;

  • Ensure that you have a suitable internet connection and functioning device for an online session; and

  • Take responsibility for deciding whether and how to act on any reflections or suggestions arising from the session.

If technical difficulties caused by the Provider prevent the session from taking place, a replacement appointment will be offered. If technical difficulties arise on the client’s side, the Provider will make reasonable efforts to continue or reschedule, but cannot guarantee replacement time.

The Provider may end a session if there is abusive, discriminatory, threatening or otherwise inappropriate behaviour. In such circumstances, no refund will be due.

8. Confidentiality

Information shared during the session will be treated with care and reasonable confidentiality.

Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is required by law, where there is a serious and immediate concern about someone’s safety, or where information must be shared with a professional adviser or service provider who is subject to an appropriate duty of confidentiality.

The Provider may use anonymised themes or general learning from her work for professional development or communication, but will not knowingly identify the client without prior permission.

9. Recording and intellectual property

The session may not be recorded, photographed, transcribed, reproduced or distributed by either party without prior written agreement.

Any materials, exercises, frameworks, written prompts or resources supplied by the Provider remain the Provider’s intellectual property unless otherwise stated. They are supplied for the client’s personal, non-commercial use and may not be copied, published, taught, sold or distributed without written permission.

The client retains ownership of their own personal information, experiences and original material shared during the session.

10. Outcomes and limitation of responsibility

The Provider will deliver the session with reasonable care and professional integrity. However, personal-development work is individual, and no specific result, transformation, decision or outcome can be guaranteed.

To the extent permitted by law, the Provider is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from decisions or actions taken by the client following the session.

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limits the client’s mandatory consumer rights.

11. Personal information

Personal information supplied during purchase, booking and delivery of the session will be handled in accordance with The Inner Meridian Privacy Policy.

The information will be used to process payment, administer the booking, communicate with you and deliver the service. Marketing communications will only be sent where there is an appropriate lawful basis or you have separately chosen to receive them.

Acceptance of these Agreement & Terms does not constitute consent to optional marketing communications.

12. Changes and unforeseen circumstances

The terms accepted at the time of purchase apply to that purchase.

The Provider may make reasonable changes to the session format where necessary, provided that the essential nature and duration of the service are not materially reduced.

Neither party will be responsible for a delay or failure caused by circumstances reasonably beyond their control. The parties will make reasonable efforts to agree on a replacement appointment where appropriate.

13. Governing law

These Terms and the contractual relationship are governed by substantive Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions applicable to the Client.

Any concern should first be raised directly with the Provider so that the parties may seek a reasonable and amicable solution.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the courts at the Provider’s domicile in 8307 Effretikon, municipality of Illnau-Effretikon, Canton of Zurich, Switzerland, shall have jurisdiction to the extent that such a choice of jurisdiction is legally permitted. Any mandatory places of jurisdiction, particularly those applicable to consumer contracts, remain reserved.
